Edward Gryffydh Peacock, East India Company clerk; he was the only son of Thomas Love Peacock, the writer. ยท To Thomas Love Peacock, satirical novelist and poet (his father) : 1 autograph letter signed (fragment) : [ca. 1840's?] : (P'ANA 0072) : 1 page (single sheet) : [from France] : begins, "There is such a disturbance jolting that writing correctly is out of the question. Our stay here is uncertain as we may visit some other parts of France before our retrun home ..."; on thin graph paper, with Latin verb conjugations written in the verso.
